Breakaway Outreach is a nonprofit dedicated to empowering kids with faith, hope, love, resilience, and brighter futures. We are a Christian organization serving young people through a myriad of life-changing ministries.
Our 15th annual Champions Fore Kids golf event is in 2025 and we are seeking “champions” with a BIG heart and a COMPASSIONATE swing to join us for this special event to change the game for children facing hardship in our East Tennessee, North Georgia, and Western North Carolina communities. Proceeds from this golf event benefit our local and regional programs (*bottom of the page). By teeing it up at this event, you are championing faith, building resilience, and fostering hope in our Breakaway kids.
Thank you for your partnership!
Golfers and golf enthusiasts are welcome, but you don’t necessarily need to understand the game of golf to make a HUGE difference in the lives of young people through this event. All you need is a passion to see kids empowered with hope and resilience. We need golfers as well as event volunteers to champion this movement. For sponsorship inquiries, registration, volunteer opportunities, or any other event info: contact Cindy at (423) 400-1358 or cindy@breakawayoutreach.com.

About Breakaway Outreach
Breakaway Outreach is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 1995.
With a vision of helping kids “breakaway” from a troubled past, the faith-based organization began primarily as an outreach to at-risk teens in South Florida juvenile detention centers. Over the years this movement has grown into an international missions network impacting youth and children through local, regional, and international partnerships. Our vision is to empower young people with opportunities that build faith, champion hope, shape resilience, and forge character. Our programs are galvanized to see young people transformed, families restored, and future leaders developed. Through outreach partnerships with schools, churches, youth organizations, juvenile centers, prison ministries, domestic violence programs, and various agencies, we are strengthening communities and building a better future for young people.
Some of our Local and Regional initiatvies include:
- Youth camps and wilderness retreats
- Community-wide sports outreach
- KidVenturez (adventure programs for underserved kids)
- Mentoring initiatives and afterschool activities
- Summer/Winter camp scholarships for disadvantaged youth
- Juvenile justice ministries
- Christmas programs and birthday blessings for children affected by trauma/hardship
- Special care ministries for children affected by parental incarceration and domestic violence
- Chaplaincy services and pastoral care for families in crisis
